After their steamy affair was exposed by the supermarket media, actor, Eddie Cibrian cut all ties to country star, LeAnn Rimes. But according to wife, Brandi Glanville, LeAnn isn’t taking the hint.
“LeAnn is a stalker,” Glanville told reporters for Us. “She refuses to leave us alone – it’s shameful and scary. It takes two to tango, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance.” she complained.
From being caught on security video sucking Cibrian’s finger during one of their ‘dates,’ LeAnn’s pursuit of the 35-year old former ‘Young and the Restless’ star has allegedly achieved such a degree of obsession, Eddie changed his cell number to stop her constant texting and calls. It didn’t work. LeAnn tracked him down at a Lakers game two weeks later on May 17, and the relentless pursuit has continued unchanged.
Married for 8 years, Eddie and his wife have two sons, Mason, 6, and Jake, 2. While, LeeAnn, 26, married dancer, Dean Sheremet in 2002. So neither party should be playing this game. But Brandi has no doubts over LeAnn’s motivation, “LeAnn is so desperate for fame she has left her self-respect in the gutter and doesn’t care who she hurts to get what she wants.” she told the scribes. “She’s hurting my family and messing with the wrong mom. I’m a happy wife fighting for what I have.”
When asked for a comeback, LeAnn’s reps were succinct, “Eddie and Brandi are both on the record on this and LeAnn has kept quiet. What does that tell you about who is after fame and some press?”
Well, let’s see — The rumors surfaced last week, just days before a movie starring Eddie and LeAnn was scheduled to debut on Lifetime. Eddie went from ‘Who?!’ to an overnight name, and the movie bagged 4.5 million viewers.
