Rest assured, the only thing on fire at Cher’s place is the singer’s wit.
Some of Malibu’s finest—in more ways than one, apparently—turned up in droves at the superstar’s not-so-humble abode just after 11 a.m. today, after the medic alarm button on Cher’s security system was accidentally pressed.
Paramedics and sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene, and while they were quickly informed that their (professional) services were not required, the outing didn’t turn out to be a total loss.
At least, not for Cher.
“Just spoke to Cher, who confirmed it was a false alarm but said she never saw so many cute firemen and paramedics in her life,” spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg told E! News.
“She added that there was an especially gorgeous black-haired ambulance driver that she is really sorry she didn’t get to meet. Maybe there’ll be another false alarm…”
